Each piece is
individually designed by me and assembled at my home studio in
Colorado Springs. I carefully inspect everything before I ship
it out to you.
Most of my pieces are available in
either Sterling silver, 14K Gold filled, or copper unless
otherwise noted. Gold filled jewelry is slightly more
expensive due to market prices. You can request a piece to be
made in a different metal base.
I use semi-precious
stones, glass beads, Czech and Swarowski crystals and metal
beads. Some gemstones are dyed or irradiated to improve their
color, so they can fade with time. Natural materials such as
pearls and stones may have unusual coloration, shapes, sizes,
flaws or imperfections --characteristics that add to the
uniqueness of each piece of jewelry. I don't include in my
designs any bead or stone that is broken, cracked or about to
get broken. Stones such as labradorite, kyonite, sunstone,
agate, & peridot may show lines or fissures but this is
due to the nature of the stones.
Most of my jewelry is
limited edition.
All my necklaces and bracelets show a
"Dolce de Leti" name tag.
Sterling silver tarnishes
when not worn. Store your 'Dolce' on a non-tarnish velvet bag
& simply restore its shine by polishing gently with a soft
cloth.
Some of my designs are purposely oxidized to
obtain an antique look or to create contrast with the stones.
If you would like your piece not to be oxidized please let me
know in advance.
I always advise my customers to
neither shower nor sleep nor work out with my jewelry on. This
will prolong the life of your piece.
Your satisfaction is my priority. I
want you to feel absolutely delighted with your new 'Dolce de
Leti' and be proud of wearing a unique handcrafted piece of
art made by an Uruguayan-American artist. You are my

Alterations
If you need an
alteration done on a 'Dolce de Leti' jewelry that you own,
please contact me before you send it to me. Alterations
such as changing ear wires, adding bracelet links, shortening
bracelets or necklaces, are free of charge. If you need to
lengthen a necklace, please check with me to make sure I have
enough beads for a flawless extension. If you are ready to
purchase an item on the web but you need it to be altered,
send me an e-mail with the dimensions preferred so I can ship
it to you ready to be worn.
Repairs
I will gladly
repair your 'Dolce de Leti' for a lifetime. In the event you
lost some parts, a nominal charge may apply. In most cases,
repairs are free of charge and done within a week. You will be
responsible for the return shipping only. Contact me for
further directions.
If you lost one earring, please
contact me first before you mail it to me --I would ask you to
send me a picture if possible to make sure I have a stone to
match it. Cost would be half the price of the pair plus
shipping (and taxes if applicable).
Returns
If you are not happy with your purchase, contact
me ASAP. You can request, within 10 days of
purchase:
a full refund: this includes the
price you paid for the merchandise, plus any taxes and/or
shipping charges applied to your purchase;
an exchange of equal or greater
amount;
a 'Dolce'
credit that I'll keep on file until you decide to use
it. Credits don't expire!!!
an alteration -- see
"Alterations" above.
In any case, you are only responsible for paying
the return shipping fee. After 10 days from
receipt of purchase, no refunds, exchanges or credits will be
issued.
Custom and special orders are not
returnable, refundable or exchangeable for merchandise or
credit. You can request alterations if needed.
